My beloved brutha....only person I worry abou****chin me is GOD!!!He not only watches me, He (God) also knows my thoughts and the intent of my heart. I respect my Pastor, he is a very well educated, Godly man, with a good reputation, full of compassion and mercy. Having said that, I also know he is a "man". I will accept correction from him that is biblically sound. (I ain't about to drank no Kool aid...even if its "red") I have a very intense sense of humor. I think it is a gift that God gave me to allow me to survive some of the horror of my life. So when you say sumthin' thats funny....I am gonna laugh. Now it may be "off color, profane, well jus plain ole nasty" and thats when i gotta use my tools. I have a choice when I see who has posted to skip or read. I have a curiousity (that has also gotten me into a whole lotta trouble in the past) that i have yet to tame. Maybe then again, i shouldn't. I am not a practitioner of cloistered catholocism. I live in the world. As such I have to encounter whatever is current in the world. And i am a Black woman. I love my people, our history, our struggle, who we are (as a cultural group) and also who we as a people are becoming.

Now about this heathen thang. I had to go look it up. For real!! i have never referred to anyone in my life as a heathen. I remember the old Red Foxx show, Aunt Esther used to call Fred a heathen and i laughed. (wasn't even a christian then) Looking at the following definitions i could find, :

I don't believe this is how i would decribe you if asked. I don't really know you. We are people posting what we want the world to hear from us on a public forum. But I find you very witty. Humor is actually a sign of intelligence. Especially witty, sarcastic commentary. You can always get a laugh with obscenity even if its just an embarassed laugh.
